Rules & Regulations

Boys and Girls at all times in the college should adhere to the dress code prescribed by the college committee.

For Boys:

Grey Trousers and white shirt neatly pressed with tie. Polished Black formal Shoes are mandatory. At no time, shorts or jeans and slippers are allowed in the Institute. White Aprons upto thigh level with the Institute LOGO should be worn at all times in the college, wearing the Apron outside the college premises should be avoided. ID card should be worn at all the time.

For Girls:

Grey Kurta and White salwar, Polished Black shoes are preferred. No heels or flip flops or crocs are permitted. White Aprons upto thigh level with the Institute LOGO should be worn at all times in the college, wearing the Apron outside the college premises should be avoided.ID card should be worn at all the time.

Identity Card

ID Card can be collected from the administrative section of the Institute. The validity would be one year. After every professional examination a new ID card would be issued for the next academic year.

ID Card is required to:

          Enter College

          Attend Classes

          Attend Clinics

          Enter Library

          Enter Hostel

In case of loss of ID Card please inform the administrative section immediately.

 

Code of Conduct

          The student will adhere to the Academic Calendar specified by Academic Authorities to ensure the smooth completion of their program.

          Students are advised to come in formal dress code of AGDC regularly, Institutional Uniform for Labs.

          The student should be conscientiously honest in all academic activities and with all staff and co students.

          Students should carry their Identity Card regularly of AGDC if violated they are not allowed into the premises.

          Students are accountable to meet all academic credentials including actively participating in educational tours or industrial visits accompanying Faculty members after obtaining completing Undertaking process from Parents as a mandatory process.

          Students should participate in seminars, discussions, presentations under the guide ship of faculty and mentors in their respective areas of the discipline.

          Students should follow all the guidelines with respect to seminars and project submissions to their mentors and guides.

          The student should maintain regular attendance for all sessions during the day. As per TRIPURA University norms, every student should meet more than 80% attendance in theory and clinical posting criteria to attend end examination for each semester.

          All students should follow the curriculum according to DCI/Tripura University/ norms.

          The student is accountable to complete all academic standards including Practical's, Record submission, participating in workshops as per schedule.

          They should follow updates regular by notice board, AGDC website so as not to miss any important information.

          The student should switch off their mobile phones while in the classroom, Laboratory, and Library. The mobile phone is strictly prohibited in the exam hall during the examination.

          Ragging is strictly prohibited in the campus. If found guilty and proven, stern disciplinary action will be taken.

          Any misbehaviouror in-disciplinary acts will result in severe punishment to maintain homogeneity in the premises.

          Destroying/Damaging of college property would be liable for punishment and compensation of loss caused by the act.

          Outsiders or strangers are not entertained into the campus by students of AGDC, without prior permission of right, concerned authorities.

          Students are not encouraged to involve in anti-social, anti-national, immoral practices and anti-institutional activities within the campus.

          Students must be present at the examination hall half an hour before the commencement of the examination. Communication with one another is strictly not permitted during the examination.

          All the students should adhere to the rules and regulations by the examination department as specified and follow the instructions.

          The student should not use unparliamentarily Language, should not have an impolite talk which offends other students or staff and if it is proved serious action would be taken by authorities.

          Students are advised to utilize the free time to spend in the library and refer books
