Agartala Government Dental College & IGM hospital organized an orientation program focused on anti-ragging for the 1st year BDS students on 12th August, 2024.  The program aimed to create awareness among students about the serious consequences of ragging and the importance of developing a positive and inclusive campus environment. The program was attended by students, faculty members, and administrative staff, who all reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining a ragging-free institution. Students were informed about the college's zero-tolerance policy towards any form of ragging and were encouraged to report any incidents immediately. Awareness videos highlighting the psychological and physical harm that ragging inflicts on the victims were also shown to the students. The message that every student should be safe, respected and valued in the campus was conveyed to the students through this program.
