Department of Orthodontic and Dentofacial Orthopaedics

The department of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics specializes in the correction of defects in the jaws and teeth through the use of various removable and fixed appliances. Treatment takes the form of MBT appliances, lingual appliances, ceramic brackets ,myofunctional appliances,surgical orthodontics and micro implant based orthodontics.

The department has excellent facilities ranging under graduate clinics with computers, the department has an advanced digital imaging and treatment simulation system ,a first ,which enables planning of complex procedure.

It is the first orthodontic department in our state to provide orthodontic treatment to the people of Tripura.
